Abstract
Real shapes of power excitation and thermal nonuniformities regions of electronic device objects are difficult to determine basing on thermal and thermal-wave images due to diffusion of heat flux in investigated object and limited resolution of temperature detectors (camera). Those two factors cause the blurring of thermal images.

This paper presents a method of elimination image of distortions improved by deconvolution procedure of the thermal diffusion and IR camera influences. It allows increasing the final thermal-wave image resolution. Proposed algorithm ensures sharpening deconvolution procedure of the thermal-wave images of heterogeneity as well as images of energy excitation areas. It is based on the iterative deconvolution of registered thermal-wave image making assumption that the character of temperature field blurring and its parameters are roughly known.
