Abstract
Co-reduction of refractory metal fluorides by hydrogen is analyzed thermodynamically taking into account the crystallization of a dilute solid solution and polymerization in a gaseous phase. The kinetics and mechanism of crystallization of tungsten and tungsten-rhenium alloys are discussed. Special emphases are made on the investigation of corresponding alloy structures and mechanical properties versus plating conditions and heat treatment.
