Abstract
This paper aims at presenting the numerical modelling
tools used for the description of the nonlinear behaviour up to rupture of
reinforced and prestressed concrete beams sustaining both chemical and
mechanical loadings. Continuum Damage Mechanics applied to concrete and
steel, coupled with a multifibre description of the structure seems to be a
relevant choice for such a purpose.
