Abstract
We investigate Knight shift in the charge ordered state of the one-dimensional electron system nearly half-filling. It is shown that the splitting of Knight shift occurs below the critical temperature of charge ordering. This finding is different from the case of just half-filling, where the splitting does not occur even in the charge ordered state. In addition, we find the simple relations among the difference between the shift in the charge rich site and that in the poor site and the mount of the charge transfer. Key words. Charge order - Knight shift - extended Hubbard model.
