Abstract
The measuring system used to investigate of partial
discharge by means of the calibrated acoustic emission as well as the
analysis of investigation results of partial discharges in modelled laminar
systems are presented. Modelled laminar systems enable us to observe inner
and surface discharge together with discharge within oil. The results of
analysis determine different properties of acoustic emission signals coming from different modelled partial discharge sources in the time, discrimination threshold and time-frequency domain.
