Abstract
A mathematic model of time dependent temperature field in subsurface (100 cm) layer of soil in polar region is proposed. It utilizes data registered by automatic meteo-station and fitting procedure based on evolution algorithm for estimation of thermal properties of the soil. Determined parameters are used for extrapolation of temperature field to show applicability and limitations of the model. Requirements of further measurements and data collecting are drown.
