Conventional and photonic crystal optical fibre for localization sensor

Abstract
We present theoretical comparison of sensing properties
of two kinds of the optical fibre devoted to the localisation sensor. The
sensor bases on the group velocity difference of two modes guided in two
separated regions of the optical fibre.
