Abstract
We have studied the problem of the current flow through the sample with narrow energy band when the average voltage corresponds to the negative differential conductance (NDC) region. We have found a stable solution in the NDC region which describes uniform high frequency voltage oscillations. Frequency of the oscillation is determined by antenna properties of the system. The results are applicable also to semiconductor superlattices.
