Abstract
In this work the multi-wavelength thermal lens method is introduced as a valuable tool to measure the fluorescence quantum efficiency ($\eta$) of luminescent solutions. This methodology exhibits some advantages over conventional methods, like for instance no need to use a reference sample. The Rhodamine was firstly chosen for our study because its properties are very well known. Our results indicate a high $\eta$ value for Rhodamine (~ 100%).
