Abstract
In order to prepare good thin films based on organic
donor molecules, three new alkyl-substituted BEDT-TTF (ET) molecules and its
analogs, C
6ET 1, BC
6ET 2 and C
6EDT-DC
3 are synthesized. Solubilities of the present materials are much
improved from ET. C
6ET and BC
6ET have almost the same donor
ability as that of ET. These three materials form good thin films on a
SiO
2 substrate by the solution cast method.
Key words. Synthesis, thin films, organic conductors.
