Abstract
In this paper, influence of the microstructural description in micromechanical modeling will be discussed. A new formulation taking into account a microstructure composed of clusters of martensitic plates having different cristallographical orientations is proposed. Using this approach, a complete interaction matrix is derived for NiTi SMAs. This new matrix is composed of all the self-accommodating groups experimentaly observed in this alloys. This cluster scheme is also applied to model the anisothermal creep of SMA single crystal under low stress regime.
