Cu-AI based single crystal shape memory actuators and drives

Abstract
High performance actuators and drives have become available due to using of shape memory single crystal materials. The paper
is devoted to design of linear and rotational shape memory actuators. These actuators are able to generate force and torque
in one or two directions by linear or rotation displacement of output element. The mathematical model of the bending force
element is discussed.
