Abstract
In the paper, an attention is paid to the problems of mathematical modelling of dust explosions. The main application of the
research has been the large-scale explosions, where the most difficult aspects are the
dimensions of the computational domain in comparison with the grid size. It is especially important in modelling of combustion,
which requires dense meshes. Therefore, in the paper, a new approach has been used. The objective is to develop a model that
may be used for practical simulations of large-scale dust explosions.
