Abstract
The behaviour of the titanium-nickel composition has been considered in conditions of the shock loading and further heat treatment. For the powder composition made of these materials characteristic is an anomalous behaviour under the thermal synthesis. The influence of the shock compression on the process of the formation of the intermetallic compounds has been investigated.
