Design and operation of a high-power secondary concentratorI. Levy and M. Epstein
Solar Research Facilities Unit, The Weizmann Institute of Science, P.O. Box 26, 76100 Rehovot, Israel
A technology for the construction of relatively large secondary concentrators was developed, tested and demonstrated on solar power level of more than 500 kWth. The paper describes in a detailed manner the unit, which was built and tested at the Weizmann Institute of Science Solar Tower for use with two solar reformers.
