The reflective solar tower as an option for high temperature central receiversA. Segal and M. Epstein

The optics of the tower reflector central plant is analyzed and compared with the classical tower-top central plant for receivers working at high temperatures (above 1100K). The tower reflector seems to be superior for large plants, while for the small plants the tower top system has better performance from the optical point of view.
