Abstract
Ramified kinetic schemes of non-equilibrium plasmachemical processes excited by microwave discharge in molecular gases N2, O2, and H2, are presented. An analysis of the influence of the reactions of stepwise excitation of molecular electronic terms by electron impact via vibrational levels of the ground state on the calculated electron energy distribution function and kinetic coefficients of electrons is given. Development of ionization instability governed by associative ionization processes is demonstrated with the example of a discharge in two crossed microwave beams. Mechanisms of formation of vibrational distribution function of nitrogen and hydrogen molecules, as well as mechanisms of gas heating at the discharge and post-discharge stages are considered.
