Abstract
Hysteresis loop squareness in 50Ni-50Fe alloys is shown to be well related to the sharpness of the cube texture. The development and the "temperature stability" of the cube texture (to prevent secondary recrystallization) is therefore of great interest for industrial applications. The aim of this investigation was to determine to what extent this "temperature stability" can be controlled by industrial process : cold-rolling reduction and 2nd phase particules content. A critical radius for a thermally activated nucleation of secondary recrystallization was introduced to discuss experimental results.
