Abstract
The broad topic of the dust-dust interaction phenomenology in the plasma and in the plasma sheath is here analysed with reference to the work of the Oxford team. The theory includes preliminary consideration on the dust charge in the plasma sheath region, in a crystal environment and in the case of fast-moving particles. Among other experimental observations the dust-laser interaction and the motion of the particulate in non uniform electric fields are shown in some detail.
