On the dimensionality of quasi-one-dimensional conductors

Abstract
The anisotropic Ginzburg-Landau model is applied to the Bechgaard salts and to the blue bronze. The former is found to be well described by mean-field theory, whereas the latter shows strong fluctuations in the vicinity of Tc.
