Structural and magnetic characterization of Co/Au(100) epitaxial multilayers

Abstract
Many studies have been devoted to the Co/Au system. Only the hcp Co(0001)//Au(111) epitaxial relationship has been investigated so far. We present a new bct Co(100)//Au(100) multilayered structure. Structural and preliminary magnetic measurements are discussed.
