Abstract
Different analytical formulations of acoustical radiation and fluid-structure interaction are first reviewed. Two applications of those numerical methods for audio and automobile industries are then presented. For each application, the criteria for method selection are emphasized and the results are briefly commented. To conclude, some guidelines are given for the choice of formulation.
