Sensing properties of photonic crystal fibers

Photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) constitute a new class of optical sensors because of its diverse advantages. This paper presents a state-of-art of the PCF-based sensors. Theoretical computations of phase sesnitivity of IG PCF's are also shown.
