Abstract
Molecular dynamics study of martensitic transformation based on a simple model for binary alloys, where interaction between atoms is represented by Lennard-Jones type potential with two parameters. One reperesents atomic size or molar volume and the other bond strength. This simple model allows us to study such common features of matensitics transformation as successive appearance of different modifications of close packed structures, dependence of tranformation temperature on the size nonocrystals and also positive temperature coefficients of shear elastic moduli above $M_{\rm S}$.
