Abstract
We report the demonstration of 10-Hz strong emission at 19-nm from a Ni-like Mo x-ray laser. The transient collisional excitation pumped Ni-like Mo x-ray laser is based on a Mo capillary target which is pumped longitudinally by a 10-Hz table-top Ti:sapphire laser with the output energy of about 240mJ per shot. Calculated results are also shown, which are in good agreement with the experimental results. The demonstrated new scheme opens up the way towards the realization of saturated soft-x-ray lasers with a multi-hertz repetition rate.
