Abstract
In this work we present more detailed treatment of alignment and control of the 1 MW Big Solar Furnace
(BSF) heliostats reflecting surfaces (RS) geometrical precision problems ; energy characteristics of BSF, its
peculiarities ; the results of experimental measurements of irradiation distribution in the BSF focal plane and
appropriate application of the spectral selective receivers.
