Abstract
It is possible, using thin film Permalloy MR sensors, to analyse the local values of magnetic field strength for different directions of magnetising field. The sensor and the magnetising yoke are rotated and the magnetic field is measured for arbitrary direction of magnetisation (with respect to the rolling direction). In this way the anisotropy of magnetic field strength and the inclination of local anisotropy axis can be determined. After statistical processing of the acquired data we can analyse the texture of the tested sheet.
