Abstract
An experimental investigation of ion and electron resonance cones have been carried out in the toroidal device Thorello in which a weakly magnetized plasma is produced. As resonance cones propagation depends on fundamental parameters of plasma, we can estimate density, temperature, magnetic field and ion minority concentration. In this way the investigation aims to develop some plasma diagnostics comparable to the other methods.
