The 35th Winter School on Wave and Quantum Acoustics was held in Ustron, a small town in Beskidy Mountains. For the second time the School was organize in a form of three workshops:

- 2nd Workshop on Acoustoelectronics and Optoelectronics,

- 2nd Workshop on Molecular and Quantum Acoustics,

- 11th Workshop on Photoacoustics and Thermal Wave Methods (former Workshop on Photoacoustics and Photothermics).

The idea of partially independent workshops has been proven during 34th Winter School. Because of broad subject area of the school many participants prefer to take part only in selected sessions. Moreover, workshops are addressed to rather homogeneous, smaller groups of specialist and give better opportunities for discussions and direct contacts.

Typically a programme contains review lectures presented by experienced researchers and shorter contributions devoted to new, original results or works being realized. Very important part of each session is a discussion, where specialist can comment presented results, propose alternative solutions or discuss new ideas. Frequently problems mentioned during a session are discussed during informal meeting.

Papers presented in these proceedings are printed versions of contributions presented during workshops. All papers have been reviewed and accepted for publication by the members of the scientific committees of workshops. A few titles are slightly changed according to referee's suggestions. I would like to thank all referees for their valuable comments and suggestions. Their work allowed to avoid many mistakes and improved scientific value of presented papers.

I acknowledge scientific co-editors, Prof. Tadeusz Pustelny and Dr. Marzena Dzida for their efforts to ensure good scientific level of presented papers.

I would like to specially acknowledge Dr. Monika Pyka and Dr. Adam Szpakowski for final edition of manuscripts. It considerably improved technical quality of these proceedings.

The Organizers gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Polish State Committee for Scientific Research received via the Polish Acoustical Society.

I hope that all authors of papers presented in these proceedings and also new participants will join our 36th Winter School in winter 2007.
