Abstract
We have designed several kinds of nano-structured carbon-composite materials which are based on the rule of the filed emission by employing Micro-wave, DC, RF and Thermal CVD and Cathodic Arc Deposition methods. Several emitters fabricated in our laboratory are explained, and then an interesting role of the graphite/diamond or sp2/sp3 carbon interface existing in the electron-emitting nano-carbon composite materials to enhance the emission are mentioned.
