Spectral lift of degeneracy in a multiple-phase-shifted distributed-feedback structure (MPS-DFB)

Abstract
This paper is devoted to the theoretical study of a multiple-phase-shifted distributed-feedback structure (m - 1 $\lambda /2$-cavities separated by m Bragg mirrors). We use a matrix formalism to simulate the reflectivity or the transmission as a function of the detuning. Universal expressions are obtained in terms of normalised (dimensionless) parameters.
