Abstract
It's well known that bigger part of trace metals transported by river is connected with suspended sediments. Tlius the procedure of suspended matters sampling has important significance for trace metals river analysis. In addition the sampling stage is the first one in the chain of sequential steps for environmental water analysis. If this stage is made incorrectly performance of other steps of environmental analysis procedure has no meaning at all. It was shown that for the purpose of the following comprehensive analysis with other dates of sampling or with other parts of the river weightedmean transect concentration taking into account the contribution of each segment of transect should be used.
