Abstract
We briefly outline some recent approaches relying on cluster expansions techniques (see [4], [5], [6]) to study transfer operators associated to coupled maps lattices. These are infinite dimensional dynamical systems involving interactions between continuous state elements which evolve in discrete time and are distributed on a lattice. Existence of mixing SRB measures for such systems is referred to as space-time chaos [1].
