Abstract
An experimental method was developed for creation of static equilibrium spiral domain with large number of coils. This method allows to study the behavior of spiral domain structure (SDS) in thin uniaxial ferrite-garnet films at presence of external constant magnetic field. From the point of view of thermodynamic approach the satisfactory qualitative analysis of spiral domain behavior was carried out and SDS stability conditions were predicted. When temperature is changed then there observed evolution of equilibrium SDS coexisting with another domain phase. This evolution is caused by the change of spiral domain radial and butt-end pressures.
