Abstract
In this study, where AIN particles for grain growth inhibition were formed during the heating stage of secondary recrystallization annealing by nitriding from N2-rich atmosphere, the effect of sulfur on the primary and secondary recrystallization in 3%Si-Fe was investigated. As the sulfur content decreases, the size of primary grains increases and the distribution of AIN precipitates becomes more uniform and finer. as a results, the secondary recrystallization is formed at higher temperature. Because of the increase in the secondary recrystallization temperature, the specimen with less sulfur shows better magnetic properties.
