Abstract
We present a study about the problem of the characterization of acoustics sources by high resolution methods (MUSIC) [1], in the aim of reducing the noisiness sound level. We developp a portable multi-channel instrumentation with simultaneous sampling on each sensors. We establish the model of the spatial coherence of the back noise in a view of an application in a reverberant sound field, and we apply a wide band formalism. Finaly, we validate experimentaly the instrumentation, the model of the spatial coherence and compare the MUSIC algorithm with the Capon adaptative array processing [2].
