Abstract
A new description of the phase diagram and the Quantum Hall Effect in a Magnetic-Field-Induced-Spin-Density-Wave (MFISDW) state in the Bechgaard salts is proposed. The quantized Hall conductivity is given by the sum of the Frohlich collective mode contribution and of a traditional "metallic" one produced by the charge carriers in Fermi surface pockets. The MFISDW order parameter changes drastically when the system undergoes the transition from the IQHE to the FQHE regime.
