The present study concern the effect of the elaboration parameters on the structural state of the deposit, and particularly the texture and its relationships to the magnetic properties. In order to follow the evolution of magnetic characteristics with the structure and the texture, experimental conditions were selected in a manner that the chemical composition of the deposits remained almost unchanged (80-82% Co, 18-20% Ni). Bright and smooth deposits characterized by [11(-2)0] or [11(-2)0] + [10(-1)0] texture axis with interesting magnetic properties were obtained. The addition of phosphorus as a non-magnetic inclusion enhanced their magnetic properties, particularly coercivity Hc and initial magnetic permeability µi.
