SHAPE MEMORY AND SUPERELASTICITY BEHAVIOUR OF POROUS Ti-Ni MATERIAL

Abstract
The peculiarities of shape memory and superelasticity effects in porous Ti-Ni were studied both for powder technology stages of production and deformation of sintered porous material. It is shown that porous Ti-Ni material demonstrates new functional capacities in comparison with nonporous one : wider range of permissible deformation, increasing of reversible deformation and "volume memory" effect.
