(e,3e) collisions on He in the quasi-dipolar regime

Abstract
We report the first measurement of the angular distributions of the two ejected electrons following electron impact double ionization of helium, using a multi-parameter (e,3e) spectrometer. The high incident energy of these experiments allows comparison with photo-double ionization results. Comparison is also made with existing (e,3e) theoretical calculations.
