Modelling of the electromechanical behaviour of PZT

The aim of this paper is to model the one-dimensional behaviour of a soft PZT tested in compression. Thanks to a viscoplastic formulation, the effects of cyclical loading and loading rates are also taken into account. The coupling between remnant strain and polarisation is achieved through a mechanically induced depolarisation function.
