Abstract
In the paper thc possibility of photoacoustic phenomena application for the testing
of atmospheric gasses was presented. There were presented some aspects of theoretical analysis
of photoacoustic effect as well as the method of the gas concentration determination in complex
mixture of various gasses based on spectroscopic investigations. The results of testing measurements
obtained by means of photoacoustic experimental set-up elaborated in Institute of Physics
at Silesian University of Technology are presented, too.
