The structure and the magnetic properties of Fe86Zr7B6Cu1 and Fe86Zr4Nb3B6Cu1 alloys at annealing temperatures TA = 300 - 550°C were investigated. At TA of about 475°C/1h a maximum of the coercivity and the saturation magnetostriction occurs the cause of which is discussed in correlation with the crystallization of supersaturated αFe crystallites and the rearrangement of the amorphous phase in structure and chemical composition. The increase of the average magneto-crystalline anisotropy signs responsible for the Hc ascent between TA = 400°C and 475°C. The exchange coupling between the crystallites is too weak (low Curie temperature) to suppress K1 sufficently.
