Fluctuation effects in the electrodynamic response of charge density wave condensates

Abstract
We report on the temperature dependence of the electrodynamic response of the CDW model compound K0.3MoO3 and its alloys. We found clear evidence of a pseudogap excitation and of the formation of a narrow Drude-like resonance at T>TCDW, as consequence of the precursor effects of the CDW phase transition. Moreover, we found signatures of the important role played by the thermal lattice fluctuations on the electrodynamic properties.
