Abstract
The pre-textured NiTi SMAs are used in the mechanical testing. The pseudoelastic effect and the anisotropic behaviors of SMA are observed. Material behaviors such as Young's modulus, transformation stress and the recoverable transformation strain are analyzed experimentally. The results show that the material behaviors of the textured SMAs are closely related to the orientation to the rolling direction. The transformation stress and Young's modulus get the maximum values with the cutting direction to the rolling direction at 70 $^{\circ}$. For the recoverable transformation strain, it reaches the maximum values at 30 $^{\circ}$ between the cutting direction to the rolling direction.
