Abstract
We observed the spatial gain profile of the transient collisional excitation Ni-like Ag laser ([MATH]) in various plasma length using near field imaging method. The gain coefficient of the x-ray laser was estimated as 25cm-1. The gain region was crescent shape and the size was 50[MATH]. Localization of high gain area was also observed.
