Thermodynamics of disordered elastic systems in the Bragg glass phase

Abstract
We study the thermodynamics of a pinned quantum object when the elastic description applies, e.g.
in the Bragg glass phase for a crystal with point disorder or for a single elastic line. Using the replica variational
method we compute the specific heat both in the quantum and classical limits. In the quantum regime, we show
that the specific heat behaves - at low temperature - as
T3 in dimension
d = 2 and
d = 3.
