Abstract
This assessment concerning several acoustic rehabilitations of existing buildings underscores the difficulty we have in taking Acoustics into account - Which is the most frequent complaint. It seems that the road noise protection - front wall insulation - with grants possibilities find the higher degree of achievement. The efficiency of acoustic works is not judged only from objective criteria - a gain higher than 5 dB(A) at least - but equally from the concertation with inhabitants and from a good course of works.
