Abstract
The microscopic structure of the mixture Kx (KCI)1-x in the metallic regime ( x = 0.8 and 0.9 ) has been investigated by neutron diffraction with the isotopic substitution technique. New measurements on the electrical transport properties are presented. For x= 0.9, the dominant metallic behavior is well established by the metal-metal correlations and the conductivity data. For x=0.8, there is evidence of stable ionic clustering. Concentration fluctuations are always important. The non homogeneous distribution of the chlorine atoms is emphasized.
