Cinétiques de précipitation de θ' et γ dans Al-Cu et Al-Ag

Abstract
The influence of the cadmium on the kinetics of precipitation of the [MATH] and [MATH] phases have been studied for the solid solutions Al-Cu4%-CdO, 2% (wt) and Al-Ag20%-CdO, 2% (wt). The volume occupied by the θ' and γ' precipitates is determined by a method based on the microhardness, for the annealing temperatures varying from 200°C to 280°C. The presence of Cd results in an decrease of the incubation time of the first nucleation for the Al-Cu system, and in an increase of this time for the Al-Ag system.
